Execution of the software updates
Depending on the type of update, some updates can be carried out as Over-the-Air updates, while others are performed at a Volkswagen Retailer. This information will be communicated for every update.
Over-the-Air update
Some software updates can be performed “Over-the-Air”. Due to a legal requirement, your one-time consent to the use of data is required. Thus, we are able to send the data for the ID. software Over-the-Air to your vehicle. Find out here how it works and which conditions need to be met.
