An amber electronic parking brake fault light means that action is required
Roadside assistance: 0330 1003 241
The central warning lamp lights up amber.
The symbol with a text message is additionally displayed in the digital instrument cluster.
Go to a Volkswagen dealership or qualified workshop.
Electronic parking brake does not switch itself off
The charging connector is plugged in.
OR: the 12-volt vehicle battery is discharged.
- Jump-start the vehicle
Electronic parking brake makes noises
- Noises may be heard when the electronic parking brake is switched on and off.
- If the electronic parking brake has not been used for a long period, the system will carry out occasional automatic and audible checks when the vehicle is parked.
