Battery Competency Centres

With accredited Battery Competency Centres (BCC) across the UK, Volkswagen has the expertise and capability to carry out remedial work on high-voltage battery packs. Our High-Voltage Technicians (HVT) and High-Voltage Experts (HVE) are qualified in de-energisation, diagnostics, repair and re-activation of high-voltage batteries, ensuring repairs are carried out to the highest standard. Whenever an electric vehicle is transferred to a Battery Competency Centre, we’ll even transport the vehicle from the retailer and back, and provide a courtesy car.

Breakdown assistance and recovery

We pride ourselves on the reliability of our vehicles, but for total peace of mind, our UK-wide roadside assistance – offered in partnership with The AA – provides expert technicians in specially-fitted vehicles 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
